December-

This month we are focusing on the winter and holiday season by singing songs about pengiuns in the cold, jingling bells and playing a tree decorating, star matching game that helps with color and shape recognition!

We have already made some great projects like our snow flake pages and winter fabric collages!  

This month isn't over and we still have two more fun filled classes to go!  Mittens and sleepy bear snack mix are coming up, as well as painting and stories about snow and warm hats!

Tired of the same old playdough?  Here's a recipe for a sensory experience your child will love!  

Flubber

• 3 cups very warm water
• 2 cups Elmer's glue
• 2 level teaspoons Borax
• food coloring 

Mix the contents together kneading until it is fully combined. If the mixture is too sticky, mix  in a little bit of Borax. Enjoy stretching this elastic substance!!
